Ms. Sonawane is a Principal at Performance Equity Management. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Sonawane was a Vice President at Bessemer Trust where she sourced and conducted due diligence on real assets, private equity funds and co-investments. Prior to Bessemer, Ms. Sonawane was at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where she supported the Global Alternatives team on research and investment selection across real assets, private equity, private credit, and hedge funds. She began her career as a global macro analyst at Moore Capital Management. Ms. Sonawane holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School, a Master of Science in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Queens College at the City University of New York, where she graduated as valedictorian.
